"Christus Victor" is a topic that came up suddenly, though one part of this piece can also be heard in "The Sacred Heart of King Jesus." This is where my already standard way of working can be recognized, the concept as a term is very important to me as a musician. The first time I encountered such work was with the great Mike Oldfield in "To France" and "Talk about your Life," later I realized that Mike Oldfield had built his entire career on conceptual topics. Many jazz and rock music artists of the 1970s did it: Jean Luc-Ponty, Pat Metheny, the Gong and Camel bands, King Crimson and Yes. The live performances would often be done very skillfully by the bands Jethro Tull and Queen, performing the so-called "Medley" where they would combine several different songs into one ... In some ways, this way of performing music was a trademark of the music of the 1970s. And it obviously made a huge impact on me as an artist.
